Team Airquiola proved to be the top team as they captured the Phenom Rec League title.
It was not an easy task for each members of the team with the top players from various squad of the basketball urban jungle are showing what they got to win the crown
Rick Madlangbayan came up big in the championship game as he tallied 20 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks to lead the Airquiola to the championship.
The formation of Team Airquiola joining Next 5 Hoops can be compared to the alignment of stars wherebasketball-loving guys from different parts of metropolis joined forces to achieve one common goal. From eliminations, to the semis up until the finals, members of this gritty bunch proved that they are up to the task of becoming the champions of Phenom Sports Center Rec League.
But as well all know, we should not be resting on our laurels as the second season of Next 5 Hoops Rec League is just around the corner. Expect for Team Airquiola to join forces once again and bring back the crown to its rightful place.
