One of the perks of our job in the field of communications industry is that we get to meet new people, establishing networks, visit places and get to know a variety of information and details from different industries. Being a practitioner for the past decade, from public relations to digital marketing, I always look forward to being a forever student, always learning from my clients and my work in general.
But this is not a business article that I am writing. I forgot to include in my opening paragraph that aside from the things mentioned above, my work also allows me to eat in different places. Not directly part of work, but again, part of our perks since food is essential in fuelling our creative minds to develop marketing and communication campaigns for our clients
After a meeting with a client in their office located at Alphaland in Magallanes, I invited my team to cross the MRT station and ride a taxi or Grab in San Lorenzo Place area. We can also have our late lunch there since the team had to make minor adjustments to the deck that we will be presenting. And then while in the 2nd floor of San Lorenzo Place, a posh residential units by Empire East, I remember that the restaurant owned by our box mates Cheska and Eyjay was actually in the area.
Bochi Q is your newest go-to unlimited korean barbecue restaurant in town. Serving fresh meats marinated in a special mix of flavors, my hungry team digged in and Bochi Q did not fail.
We ordered the unlimited Pork + Beef+ Chicken. And the next few minutes was silent. This is the literal meaning of “galit-galit muna” as we are interestingly eating our orders. Together with the delicious meat are side dishes that will balance the flavor. The bulgogi beef and chicken has an interesting mix of spice and flavor that seems to be dancing your palate. Beef is best cooked given Bochi Q’s mesh grill. And to top it all, we have a very accommodating staff that made our stay all the more worthwhile.
To Eyjay and Cheska, congratulations on your restaurant and I can’t wait to come back. This time, with Lhara who is also dying to try out your delicious Korean Barbecue.
