“Aquaman” or also known as “Arthur Curry” in his human form, a half-man and half-atlantean prince born from a pure love of the Atlantis Queen and a light house keeper. The story might first sound as a common plot of every hero where the protagonist grew up as a simple human but will eventually discover that he/she is destined for something more but he is not just destined for something more.
“Aquaman” is destined for something greater.
He grew up with only his dad supporting him but he is secretly trained by one of his mom’s loyal servant. That is why when a conflict between the Atlanteans and humans, led by his half-brother “Orm”, he is the best savior the human race can find. The film did not only tackle how Aquaman got his amazing capabilities as a super hero, the conflict with his family members especially with his half brother, his internal struggle as a human and atlantean prince, but also a really common issue the world is facing…
… the poisoning and destroying a huge part of the ocean.
The movie might be a comic-based science fiction but Aquaman did what we all should have done and should be doing as a responsible human being. We should be protecting the world we are living in as close and secure as how Fortinet is securing data from any threat that might bring harm.
