“I’m going with the Filipino burger.”
British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to judge a burger cook-off between two contestants. He had to choose between a Bison and Chorizo Double Stacked Burger versus a Pork Adobo Burger according to his preference.
The Pork Adobo Burger, prepared by 25-year-old Maura Hohman, was oozing with juices and seasonings. The burger patty was a mixture of grounded bacon and adobo staples such as soy sauce, pepper, bay leaves and vinegar.
Hohman’s burger was recognized that she used the Filipino favorite pan de sal instead of the usual burger bun.
“It’s seasoned beautifully,” Ramsay added. “And the bun, that’s a traditional Filipino bread. It’s delicious.”
