The Senate of the Philippines Golfers Association (SPGA) recently held its 16th Anniversary celebration at the South Links Golf Course, Ayala Southvale Village, Daang Hari, Las Piñas City. Senator Tito Sotto led the ceremonial drive that kicked off the affair.
The annual golf tournament that promoted camaraderie and friendly competition was made more significant with the commemoration of centennial year of the Senate of the Philippines. The tournament was open to all Senate employees and staff.
The 16th SPGA Golf Tournament was organized by Dir. Gen. Antonio De Guzman, Jr., Dir. Nick San Pedro, Dir. Ramon Navea III, Dir. Reb Cailao, Dir. Rommel Escudero, Dir. Omy Ortiz , Atty. Elbert Cruz, Mr. Rex Oribiana, Ms. Ollie Sulit, and Shaq Mario.
The event was made possible by hole sponsors like Sen. Koko Pimentel III, Sen. Ralph Recto, Sen. JV Ejercito, Sen. Bam Aquino IV, Sen. Miguel Zubiri, Sen. Leila De Lima, Sen. Nancy Binay and Sen Tito Sotto III. Major sponsors on the other hand included Philippine Airlines, Ayala Land Premiere, Japan Tobacco International, Nestle Philippines and Absolute Water.
