More than 1,300 Bicolanos affected by the threats of Mayon Volcano benefited from the relief operations conducted by the Social Security System (SSS) at Ligao City National Technical-Vocational School.
SSS Hatid Tulong travelled to Ligao, Albay to distribute relief goods to the victims of the Mayon Volcano eruption. The beneficiaries from Barangays Nasisi, Binatagan, Tuburan, Nabonton, Basag and Dunao gathered at Ligao City Technical Vocational High School where they met with SSS President and CEO Emmanuel F. Dooc, Ligao City Mayor Patricia Gonzales-Alsua and other SSS officials and employees.

SSS president and chief executive officer Emmanuel Dooc, a Bicolano himself shared that more than P 600,000.00 were allotted for the relief packages given to displaced members, pensioners and ther families in six barangays in Ligao City.
