The most prestigious beauty competition in the country is now searching for a new batch of queens who will represent the country in the international arena.
From those who submitted their applications for Binibining Pilipinas last January 8, aspirants will now go through a rigorous screening process led by Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. Chairwoman Madam Stella Marquez Araneta starting January 15.
The Pinay beauties will be vying for different titles including Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, Binibining Pilipinas Globe and Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental.

The local beauty pageant has recently produced queens who have made the Philippines proud. In 2015, Pia Wurtzbach ended the country’s 43-year drought when she was crowned Miss Universe. In 2016, Kylie Verzosa bagged the country’s sixth Miss International crown. Rachel Peters landed in the Top 10 of the Miss Universe in 2017.
