It was a breath of fresh air to watch all these new faces in Viva One as they adopted the stories from Wattpad to the TV Screen as new actors and new actress plays the favorite characters of their favorite, “University Series”.
University Series is about the 6 High School Friends, Luna, Yanna, Via, Kierra, Sam and thorn among the roses, the very handsome, Sevi.
Viva One launched the first series from the very first book which was first released on Wattpad in 2019, “The Rain In España” starring Pinoy Big Brother alumni, Marco Galloc and Heaven Peralejo as Kalix Jace “Kalix” Martinez and Louisse Natasha “Luna” Valeria. It is a love story of College Lovers who met again after 10 years after their breakup. Luna is now an architect, while Kalix is now a lawyer who works for Luna’s family business. The 1st book adaptation aired on Viva One last May 1, 2023.
Just months after TRIE, the 2nd book follows through as Jerome Ponce and Krissha Viaje with their role as Akihiro Leonel “Hiro” Juarez and Ashianna Kim “Yanna” Fernadez for “Safe Skies Archer” which also premieres last November 20, 2023. The story starts when Yanna and Hiro meet and become “friends with benefits” but need to separate ways as they both chase their dreams. Hiro to become a Pilot and Yanna to become a Flight Attendant. But destiny will cross their paths again, as Hiro finds out about them having a daughter, Avi.
Last August 16, of this year, the third installment to the University Series premiered, “Chasing In The Wild” starring new faces, Gab Lagman as the UST Growling Tigers Team Captain, “Sebastian Vincent Camero” and the beautiful, rich kid, and member of DLSU cheerleading team, Animo Squad, Elyse Amora Ledesma played by Hyacinth Callado. Their story revolves around their college love story, graduating, internship, living together to breaking up on their 5th Anniversary, is there still a chance for them to go back and celebrate their 6th after 4 years of not seeing each other?
University Series is a Wattpad Series and a Best-Selling Book composed of 6 stories, from The Rain In España, Safe Skies Archer, Chasing In The Wild, Avenues of the Diamond, Golden Scenery of Tomorrow, and Our Yesterday’s Escape written solely by Gwy Saludes.
The remaining 3 stories will be released next year with Aubrey Caraan for AOD as Sam, Bea Binene, and Wilbert Ross for GSoT as Arkin and Via, Nicole Omillio, and Jairus Aquino as Kierra and Shan for OYE.
