HYCAN, a leading innovator in electric vehicle (EV) technology, has officially entered the Philippine automotive market, marking another milestone in the country’s shift toward sustainable transportation solutions.
Since its founding in 2018 through a partnership between Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) and Pearl River Investment Management Group, Hycan has rapidly expanded beyond its Chinese origins to become a global phenomenon.
And now, with the support of Transcorp, a subsidiary formed by Sinoequip and Transequip, Hycan is introducing three cutting-edge EV models: the V09, Z03, and A06+ to Filipino consumers.
Transcorp, known for its distribution of various trucks and heavy equipment since 2004, has positioned showrooms and warehouses across key locations such as EDSA, Araneta Avenue, North Luzon Expressway and Subic. Leveraging its extensive network and industry expertise, Transcorp aims to provide exceptional service and support to customers embracing sustainable transportation solutions.
Hycan’s entry into the Philippine market sees the introduction of the Z03 Crossover, a groundbreaking model that seamlessly blends advanced technology. With features such as 180-degree reclining front seats, an extra-long wheelbase, and an impressive range of 620 kilometers (km), the Z03 sets a new standard in EV performance. Having an innovative design, the Z03 also has a 3.3-kilowatt (kW) high power vehicle-to-load function and magazine battery technology, underscoring Hycan’s commitment to sustainability.
Aside from the Z03, Hycan also unveiled the A06 PLUS, another milestone in EV innovation, equipped with advanced safety features, cutting-edge technology, and superior comfort amenities. With a robust LFP battery offering a CLTC pure electric range of 520 km and fast-charging capability, the A06 PLUS leads the pack in convenience and sustainability.
Hycan’s participation in the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) indicates a continued effort to introduce and integrate electric vehicles into the local market. The company’s presence at the event serves as an opportunity to showcase their models to consumers and industry stakeholders alike.
As the industry moves towards a greener future, Hycan’s entry into the Philippine market reflects the evolving landscape of transportation and the increasing interest in electric vehicle technology.
