The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has inaugurated its groundbreaking Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) on November 6, establishing a historic milestone as the first facility of its kind situated outside local government units’ eBOSS compliance. The newly established BOSS, located at Building 2126 on E. Quirino Avenue, is strategically designed to simplify the often intricate process of obtaining permits and licenses for investors in the Clark Freeport Zone.
In a remarkable demonstration of a whole-of-government approach, CDC President Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera spearheads efforts to ensure effective and streamlined government actions. Aligning with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directives, Atty. Devanadera emphasized the significance of embracing a culture that responds efficiently to the needs and issues faced by investors.
During the launch, Secretary Ernesto Perez of the Anti-Red Tape (ARTA) commended CDC’s pioneering initiative. He highlighted the importance of setting an example for the entire country, showcasing the optimal way government services should be rendered to stakeholders and locators. The BOSS facility symbolizes a commitment to promoting ease of doing business in the Philippines.
The BOSS facility offers a spectrum of services, ranging from pre-application counseling to post-approval monitoring. The ultimate goal is to elevate the appeal of Clark Freeport Zone as a premier investment destination, fostering a conducive environment for businesses.
The collaborative efforts of the CDC and its commitment to operational efficiency set a precedent for other regions to emulate, contributing to the overarching vision of a streamlined and investor-friendly business landscape in the Philippines.
