The Makati City government has begun distributing the newest version of “Air Binay” to Proud Makatizen students, it quickly gained popularity and went viral on social media when it was first introduced in 2018.
78,023 pairs of the “Air Binay” were distributed at Rizal Elementary School, Makati Elementary School, Benigno Ninoy Aquino High School, and Makati High School.
The school supplies given to the students have been imitated by the local government, but none of them could compare to the superior quality and the newest style of “Air Binay”.
In the meantime, 29,657 junior high school students are scheduled to receive free coats to keep them dry during the rainy season. On the other side, 8,910 senior high school pupils will get their brand-new knapsack-style backpacks constructed from premium, long-lasting, and water-repellent fabrics.
These supplies are part of the City’s Project FREE (Free Relevant Excellent Education), which provides Makati public school students with free school supplies and ready-to-wear school uniforms.
Mayor Binay also expanded the City’s Project, which includes leather and rubber shoes, tumblers, socks, rain gear, dengue and hygiene kits, jackets, and Japan-inspired school bags and uniforms.
