On the night of Christmas, Malacang cautioned the public to be cautious of COVID-19 during festivities, notwithstanding the relaxation of the gathering-restriction laws.
The Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) advised the people to keep up with health precautions while celebrating Christmas and New Year’s.
“Ngayong Pasko, alalahanin ang kaligtasan ng ating sarili, pamilya, at mga kaibigan sa patuloy na paglaban natin sa COVID-19,” it said on Saturday.
Despite the easing of the prohibitions against gatherings, observing health regulations is still a crucial part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.)
The OPS emphasized the importance of maintaining hand cleanliness, using masks, and keeping a social distance.
To help prevent the spread of the disease, the general population is also urged to keep an eye on and enhance the airflow in their homes.
Malacaang declared: “Siguruhin din na bakunado para sa mas ligtas na pagsasama-sama ngayong Pasko.”
