Today New Balance, one of the world’s major sports footwear and apparel manufacturers unveils a new three-layer Face Mask.
This news comes after the company announced it has produced more than one million general-use face masks for the healthcare community since it began production in late March amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In April, a team of industrial engineers and designers produced New Balance’s first face mask prototype.
The NB Face Mask v3 is a washable design that features a nylon tricot inner layer, a polyurethane foam second layer, and a polyester suede outer layer. The design also features a moldable nose piece and spandex/polyester ear loops. The masks come in a pack of three and will be followed up with an athletic version next month.
