A lot of activities and events are being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Event sport events like wrestling and mixed martial arts (MMA).
The wrestling clinic of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) legend Solofa “Rikishi” Fatu Jr in Manila was postponed and move to a later date.
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi as well as Reno “Black Pearl” Anoa’ were supposed to face the local media on March 18 at the Punta Restobar in Mandaluyong City, followed by a clinic with wrestling aspirants and fans.
“In keeping with the nationwide efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the press conference and wrestling clinic of “Rikishi” and “Black Pearl” have been cancelled.
We hope to see you again when this crisis is over,” the organizers Knok Pro and Red Boxing International said in a statement.
While Asia’s leading MMA promotion in ONE Championship announced the the postponement of events till late of May.
