Every year, CompFit Ortigas headed by Coach Jason Monteverde gathers its members both old and new for a day of fun and excitement with the annual Ninja Games. This activity will test the mettle of each participant, vis-a-vis their respective categories where they will compete and finish four workouts of the day (WODS).
The annual Ninja Games are usually done on a weekend since most of the members of the COMPLETE FITNESS Ortigas Box are working. This is also a good time to bring in the family and friends for additional support since the WODs will really test your physical limits.
The Ninja Games is divided into three categories (RX, Scaled and Bootcamp), where participants were evaluated by CompFit’s coaches. They will be assigned to compete in the categories that were assigned to them and will be designated to coaches who will represent the competing teams.
After an exhausting day of competition, all participants had a smile on their faces as the true challenge has been unlocked. Congratulations to all the winners of the RX, Scaled and Boot Camp divisions. Coaches, co-members, and co-participants are so proud of your achievements. For those who have not won, consider the result as a challenge and a motivation for you to do more and be more. Timely that nowadays, it’s all about that #Mamba Mentality.
Whether an old or new member, being able to survive and just by mere joining the Ninja Games, gives you a whole new different perspective to the workouts that you have been doing over the past few years or months.
It was a Saturday to remember for the members of CompFit Ortigas most especially the participants who dared and had the courage to join this annual competition. It was one for the books and aside from the coaches who organized the event, competitors were also thankful for BLACK MAMBA Energy Drink, for supporting this year’s Ninja Games 6.
Now that the games are over, expect the same tenacity and passion of old and new members alike, as they look forward to the next Ninja Games next year.
