It’s that time of year again! Voting for NBA-All Star is now officially open. Where you can see all your favorite players compete on the All-Star Game on February 17, 2020.
In today’s league, a lot of stars have emerged who made some noise at the start of the season which makes this year’s All-Star Game more interesting.
In this league of “duo” let’s check some of the rising stars of the league that can potentially make their first all-star appearance.
TRAE YOUNG
Trae Young’s sophomore year has been impressive. From his Steph Curry like range and his crafty playmaking skills. The 21-year-old star has been red hot this season averaging 29 PPG and 8 APG trying to help the struggling hawks. With John Collins as his solid parter, the Atlanta Hawks are looking to build around their young duo for their future success.
PASCAL SIAKAM
Spicy P has emerged as one of the Star in this league proving he can lead the defending champs back to the promise land. After winning MIP 2019 and winning the 2019 NBA Champion last season, Spicy P has gained total confidence and averaging a whopping 26 PPG and 8 RPG looking to make his first All-Star appearance this February 2020.
JAYSON TATUM and JAYLEN BROWN
The Boston Celtics struggled last season in terms of rotation of players where they have a lot of rotational players that they didn’t have got the chemistry right, with Kyrie Irving on the roster last season a point guard ball-dominant. The young core of the Celtics didn’t have the spotlight to showcase their talents.
This season with Kemba Walker at the point, the young duo has averaged a career-high 20 PPG each leading the Celtics with a record of 25-8 sitting 2nd in the East. With their playstyle along with All-Star Kemba Walker, the Boston Celtics is a force to reckon with their new big 3.
ZACH LAVINE
The 2-time dunk champion Zach Lavine is having his best season as a Chicago Bulls. Lavine has been dropping All-Star numbers since last season wherein he just recently dropped a career-high 47 points and 13 3 points made in a game (tied 2nd most with Stephen Curry). Lavine has been the go-to guy for the Bulls and looking to slide to the playoffs this season as they sit 10th in the east.
DONOVAN MITCHELL
Spida has been consistent throughout his career where he led the Utah Jazz to a deep playoff run on his rookie season. Spida averages career-high 25 ppg (22 ppg career) showing how consistent he is when it terms of scoring, now Spida is looking for his first All-Star appearance this year. Can Spida make it to ASG especially with West full of Superstars?
DEVIN BOOKER
One of the youngest best scorer we’ve ever seen, Devin Booker. D-Book has been a scoring machine throughout his career, dropping 70 in-game last 2016. In his 5th season, D-Book is yet to make his first All-Star appearance, this season as they made an improvement on their team success pairing him with Rubio, Ayton, and Oubre. Will D-Book appear on All-Star Game 2020?
LUKA DONCIC
The 20-year old Slovenian has been playing MVP form on his 2nd season wherein he averages 29 PPG 9 RPG 8 APG. Luka has been flashing not just All-Stars number but Superstar numbers. Luka leads the Mavericks to 22-13 sitting 6th spot in the west making the Dallas Mavericks a contender for playoffs. Luka Doncic is in the talks for MVP this season as he trails behind the reigning MVP Giannis Antetokoumpo (1st spot). Luka is currently leading on the All-Star voting
