The United States embassy and affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25, in observance of Christmas, the embassy said in a statement Thursday.
In its advisory, the embassy and affiliated offices will resume services on Thursday, December 26.

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday issued Proclamation 555 which lists the regular holidays and special non-working days for 2019. December 24 had been declared as a special non-working holiday while December 25 is a regular holiday.
