Celebrities that had cancer crossing their lives came over to PICC last Sept. 28 for the Silver Linnings, a day-long summit of inspiration and teachings for the Cancer Community, as a sign of support.
Silver Linings, known for being the biggest congregation for the fight against cancer in the country, is organised by the organisation ICANSERVE Foundation to commemorate the foundation’s 20th year of service to cancer survivors and their family.
In its two decades of service, ICANSERVE has gotten support from distinguished personalities.
The celebrities that came to give support are Iza Calzado, Agot Isidro, Tirso Cruz III, Cherie Gil, Bituin Escalente, Mikee Cojuangco, James Deakin, Daphne Oseña-Paez, Christine Jacob-Sandejas, Mitzie Borromeo, David Celdran, Fr. Jerry Orbos, Drew Arellano, Chqui Roa-Puno, Gaby Roldan-Conception, Etta Rosales, Patty Betita, Bibeth Orteza, Karmina Constantino, Chuchu Madrigal, Maan Hontiveros, Melissa de Leon, and Iya Villania.
Celebrity advocates spoke and moderated talks that help cancer survivors and their family. Topics from medical, personal, and up to cancer advocacy are what made up the talks.
