Last September 14, 2019, the government and other stakeholders converged on the massive tree planting of more than 2,000 saplings of different varieties along the ridge of Mount Banahaw at Sitio Nancaan, Barangay Sta. Lucia, Dolores, Quezon.
Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) director Nelson Licup has pledged financial support for the greening program of a multi-sectoral consortium dubbed as Project Mount Banahaw.
Participants of the greening project were encouraged to reap the long-term benefits of the tree-planting by sustaining the steady water supply of the Quezon Metro Water District to constituents and households.
