Wyeth® PROMAMA® recently had an event last Tuesday, January 22 at Shangri-La The Fort, the PROMAMA Baby’s First Gift To You. There were many beautiful mommies who came to the event. They were delighted to see the guest of the event, Celeb-Mama Patty Laurel, who also shared her story when she was having her first born and her second born baby.
Celebrity-Mother, Patty Laurel is a very successful blogger. First, she became a UAAP courtside reporter then in her sophomore year she won in MTV VJ Hunt and became a MTV Philippines resident VJ. And after teaching preschool for 4 years, she made a leap in becoming an instructor in The Ateneo De Manila University in Comms Majors for 3 years. Now she is a mommy to Theo and Astrid Nicola.
For Patty Laurel, she missed being pregnant because it’s the time when women are most beautiful and they get all the compliments from different people.
For her being a mother has a license that allows them to be proud of their kids because they get to witness every milestone as they grow up and every small detail they see is a proud moment for them. In her first experience in being pregnant with Theo, she told the mommies that she had an easy pregnancy with Theo. She was able to work and move around and took naps all the time. But when she had Astrid, she experienced all the aches and pain that anyone can think of during pregnancy. She told the mommies that being pregnant is a gift and a blessing, whether it’s easy or experiencing a few hardships while being pregnant, at the end of the day it’s still going to be meaningful.
