SAP recently showcased customers in Southeast Asia who have embarked on a journey towards becoming an Intelligent Enterprise.
SAP gathered their customers and let them present to SEA journalists that attended the event in Shangri-la BGC. SAP established its presence in the Southeast Asian (SEA) with its key customers presenting their respective company’s success with SAP, transforming businesses with cutting edge technology, cloud computing and design thinking.
The one-day event started with a media familiarization tour where media from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand get to visit the plant of Tanduay Distillery in Cabuyao, Laguna.
The second part of the activity immersed the members of the press to understand how SAP assisted the journey of some of the companies in SEA. Carlos G. Santos, CIO, JG Summit Holdings, Inc. shared how the company remain competitive with SAP S/4HANA. Mira Fitria Soetjipto, Human Resources Technology and Strategy Management Director for Body Shop Indonesia discussed how they prepared their workforce of the future, by leveraging on SAP SuccessFactor as they digitise their HR processes to ensure that Body Shop Indonesia’s strategy and goals are aligned to their workforce performance.
Ikuo Hayashi, general manager of the information systems department, planning division, Mitsui & Co. ASIA PACIFIC said that their IT investment in SAP Concur has developed further opportunities and improved their employee productivity. It was also a different success story for Globe Telecom. “Through SAP S/4HANA business suite platform, as well as Concur and Ariba Procure-toPay (P2P) service solutions, we will be able to modernise our business processes to keep up with the fast-changing landscape of the business and market”said Rizza Maniego-Eala, chief finance officer Globe Telecom.
