When it comes to talents and being highly skilled workers, Filipinos are usually top-of-mind. World-renowned Filipino talents and other so-called “high-end tourists” are now needed in China, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said.
POEA chief Bernard Olalia posted an advisory saying China is now implementing a new visa program for foreign talents, including Filipinos. Under the new program, high-end specual talents such as international entrepreneurs, scientists and artists who have performed in world famous opera houses or concert halls will be given a China Talents visa.
Olalia added the “China R Visa” allows multiple entry that is valid from five to 10 years. China R Vidsa holder can stay in China for 180 days for each entry. He sais the application for China’s R Visa can be accomplished online for free.
“Applicants will be assessed based on grading and classification and thiose who will qualify will be given confirmation letter within days upon submission of the online application form. The certification allows the qualified applicants as well as members of their families to apply R Visa at Chinese embassies or cunsulates in their home countries.
