Healthway Medical, the most trusted and preferred network of mall-based clinics in the country, recently supported the 53rd Annual Conference of People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
The three-day conference, with the theme “tHRive3” or “Total Human Resource (HR) Innovation, Velocity, Endurance, Execution and Excellence,” showcased talks by various speakers that aim to help human resource managers understand the evolving Filipino workforce and transform these people to be their greatest asset that will make their companies thrive.
The highlight of the conference was a talk and a discussion by a prestigious HR guru, Dave Ulrich.
According to Jesse Francis Rebustillo, PMAP President, the conference’s theme was born out of the need to address the rapid changes in the HR environment and enable the superiors to be effective in managing their employees.
“This year’s theme is very apt and relevant as it is now the year of HR wherein undertaking innovations and developments, ability to act along with the changes and being humane are what we need the most in today’s HR setting,” he said.
For 60 years, PMAP has been assisting organizations acquire enlightened, competent and socially responsible managers who can move workers to improve the performance of the organization by harnessing their human resources. To achieve this mandate, the association conducts career development forums and training programs that discuss significant aspects of HR management.
